OUR MISSION Smart Start provides a structured, fun, and interactive learning environment for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children. The program offers full-day care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, and after-school and summer camps for Pre-K and Kindergartners.
It is our mission to provide a safe and encouraging learning environment where children can develop fundamental educational and practical life skills.
Our goal is to encourage all children to love learning. We teach children by combining learning opportunities with play, the outdoors, music, and crafts.
OUR CURRICULUM Smart Start's curriculum is developed by our experience teaching staff based on the individual needs and interests of our learners. Learning activities are tailored to the developmental ability of the individual learner. Our staff spends time working with students one on one and in small groups every day.
Our Early Care and Continuity of Care Classrooms are tailored to support the on-demand needs of infants while promoting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Our Toddler and Preschool Classrooms have a more traditional flow to the day which includes meal and snack times, circle time, outdoor and free play, and teacher-led activities and crafts.
The Smart Start learning experience incorporates discovery and play with learning and developmental activities. We want our children to look forward to coming to school every day. We encourage creativity and strive to inspire all children to love learning as much as we do! Your child will participate in science experiments, creative math games and activities, painting and drawing, reading and writing activities, health activities, and special outdoor and nature activities.
At Smart Start we have a special love for the outdoors. We enjoy spending time hiking, gardening, and discovering on our 23+ acre property!
